My Bridge Story
I began playing competitive bridge when I retired 7 1/2 years ago. Before that I played social bridge on and off in high school, college and beyond. I have been playing mostly in two sanctioned games and one non–sanctioned game and I have been going to regional and national tournaments with two different partners, a long time friend who moved from my hometown and my sister. However, playing on–line through the virtual club option during the pandemic has enabled me to accumulate a significant number of points, (my sister and I play about 5 times a week) not to mention keeping me sane during this difficult time.
