Though I played contract bridge off and on long enough in India, duplicate bridge is very new to me and my membership of ACBL is also relatively new. It has been a joy playing duplicate bridge in heritage hills Somers Newyork with about 60 players – many of my partners are an inspiring senior lot – is a matter of sheer joy. I never miss an opportunity to play. This has become a new family for me. I must appreciate ABCL as a unique organization which promotes the game making it professional and fulfilling. I had not seen 60 players deeply interested in bridge assembling twice a week every week for the love of the game. I think much of it has become possible due to ABCL– it's professionalism and technology. I do see the possibility of playing in other clubs and I must admit my game improved a lot due to playing in ABCL affiliated regular game.
